This review is from: The Syntax of American Sign Language: Functional Categories and Hierarchical Structure (Language, Speech, and Communication) (Paperback)
I had to present a topic (by researching the topic and signing it) in my American Sign Language Linguistics Class. I purchased this book for my topic, syntax. This book includes a number of technical terms and concepts. However, it also provided laymen's information and terms that I helped me to complete my assignment. I would recommend this book for anyone involved in the Deaf community, those in school learning American Sign Language, etc.
