This is an obvious choice for a single. It has enough melodic hooks to attract a wider audience, yet it is still quite heavy, so whining metalheads won't accuse the band of 'selling out'. To be honest, I would recommend you check out the excellent album, but if you want a taster of what Spineshank are like, you could do a lot worse than give this a listen.

Synthetic is a very appropriate choice of single from Spineshank's brilliant second release "The Height of Callousness". This song demonstrates the bands musical and vocal diversity, while featuring some delicious hooks. The two extra tracks on this single, also combine Spineshank's heavy side with their more melodic roots and are tracks which would be worthy of a position on the LP.
