It is very difficult to find a resource that can give a comprehensive account of Syrian-Palestinian relations. One must normally research dozens of articles and multiple tid-bits of information from political encyclopedias and literature to gain a realization of the Syrian-Palestinian relationship. Also, the author of this book is very objective in the sense that she merely compiles political histories and accounts. I won't deceive the buyer though and say that this is an easy book to get through. This is very much a scholarly and informational book and is not easily read in a novel-like manner. The main attraction of this book is that everything is finally under one title. I highly recommend for the Syrian or Palestinian scholar.
