This Bible has a good hardback binding and two silver-white ribbons to mark pages. The edges of the pages are red.

The Bible is divided into three sections, each with its own table of contents and its own page numbering: Old Testament, Deuterocanonical books, New Testament.

A different font is used for each section. The Old Testament uses the rather distinctive Serto Malankara font, with vocalization only for some proper names. The Deuterocanonical books are handwritten in Serto, with no vocalization. The New Testament is printed in Serto, and is fully vocalized. Curiously enough, although the New Testament is typeset, its table of contents is handwritten.

The reason I gave this Bible four stars instead of five is that the type is sometimes broken or blurred, and therefore hard to read.

If you want a good quality, standard Syriac Bible, this is the one for you. There is even a letter printed in the front by the Syriac Patriarch in Antioch. So enjoy reading this Bible from a very ancient tradition!
