Don't waste your money on this cheap product and buy yourself a metal one.
It wouldn't even accept the largest size pole it claims to hold.

Still not sure about this item. We tried to use it by the pool for beach umbrella set-up. I didn't look at it closely until we were going home. The umbrella did not stand up well, but I noticed later that you needed to screw down the "tabs" to help hold in place. I would recommend staying with the regular "heavy" metal stands, as bad as I was trying to find something more convenient, easier to pack and cheaper. Sorry.

Don't buy this umbrella stand. I wish I could return it but the postage would exceed the cost of the item. (one problem buying online). We tried using water in the container and it just doesn't support even a small umbrella. We even tried using sand and it still won't support a small umbrella. I don't think concrete would work either because the base is just too unstable. This is a cheap, useless, knock off of the Jordan Brown base.

Umbrella base arrived quickly. Basic umbrella stand at a very inexpensive price. Great, if you need to have stands for several umbrellas and don't want to spend a great deal of money.

This was a total waste of money. It doesn't even hold up an umbrella. This is a good example of you get what you pay for. Take my advise and don't waste your money.

These are completely useless for a free standing umbrella, though may work with a table for stabilization. They just don't have the weight or spread for free standing.

Works great for what we need. Have had no problems in the 6 or so months we've been using the stand, and for the price it can't be beat! I only wish they'd had a darker color since our patio set dark.

Exactly what we expected. It's not fancy, and it's made from plastic, but it's also very economical. Fill with water or sand and it can hold up a 9' market umbrella on its own on level ground, but probably not a good long-term idea. Perfect for use with a patio table to keep it even more steady. The umbrella support can be left attached to the umbrella and removed from the base which makes set up and tear down fast.

Simple, economical, effective.

Would recommend unless you want a free-standing umbrella.

This is a new base for a new market umbrella that I recently purchased. It was inexpensive and serves the purpose. I think it is a good product and I had similar one like it that lasted 16 years. Thanks
