This is the best since Dion Warwick and Orchestra, Etta James, Billie,Martha Reeves, Marva Staples, Stoneground all rolled into one extremely unique voice w. the blues coos and craws of a whole new set and start of Motown, and I was born there, the real deal! Duffy is a sweet, shockingly gorgeous, infatuating Welsh lady in her own right who's brought true grit SOUL straight from the passion oozing emotions of heart, body and soul...motown Classic and all- time. A history maker. The lyrics are simple yet impeccibly rythmed and ryhmed, ooh.ooh the range she's got!!! Love you, girl ! You are powerful! This is the first new song to make me feel so good and put me in the mood of super inspired for the rest of my life since god only knows when. Thank you! And here I thought this kind of soul was unique to the special sounds of Motown back in the 60's & 70's. Syrup and Honey is a jelly roll dance song.
