Book Description

November 1984 013881483X 978-0138814830
This book will redefine what you thought you knew about programming. The principles defined here eliminate the very need for business programming. Likely, everything you thought you knew about programming is based on flawed constructs. The principles have been around since the 70s, and even though this book is "old" (1985), they're revolutionary by today's standards. James Martin helps guide you to a better way. This will realy mess with your notions on the programming process .Once again James Martin has repackaged some very helpful information and published it. This book talks about programming as an engineering disapline as opposed to an artform. It will challange you and show you some methodologies that will help you become much better at programming.

Indeed, as David K implied, this book will redefine what you thought you knew about programming. The principles defined here eliminate the very need for business programming. Likely, everything you thought you knew about programming is based on flawed constructs.

The principles have been around since the 70s, and even though this book is "old" (1985), they're revolutionary by 2011 standards. James Martin helps guide you to a better way.
