About the Author

Ramon C. Littell, Ph.D., Rudolf J. Freund, Ph.D., Philip C. Spector, Ph.D.
Dr. Littell and Dr. Freund, both SAS users since 1972 and former SUGI chairs, were closely associated with the Southern Regional Project that funded continued SAS development at North Carolina State University. In addition to their university positions, both authors publish widely in statistical and applied journals, consult in industry, and serve as Consulting Statisticians to their state Agricultural Experiment Stations. They are both fellows of the American Statistical Associations.

Dr. Spector has also had extensive experience with the SAS System. He was formerly a Senior Research Statistician at SAS Institute Inc. and is currently employed at the University of California at Berkeley.
