2009 release from this outfit led by Sander Gommans, guitarist and songwriter for Dutch Gothic Metal heroes After Forever. Pure aggression pumps adrenalin through the veins of System Overload. Each song is driven by an overdose of anger, disgust and hate, which according to his own words fuelled the brain of mastermind Gommans at the time of their composing. Yet although Amanda Somerville adds her beautiful voice and intense lyrics to the host of guest singers like former Andre Matos or Mike Scheijen, this band amalgamates Melodic Death, Classic and Modern Thrash with some Progressive and Gothic elements into a super heavy alloy.

I was pretty dissapointed when I heard After Forever was going to split, but then I heard that their guitarist had an upcoming project, I was pretty interested to hear what it sounded like. The sound its unbelievable. It has strong guitars and fast drums. I love the vocals that Amanda Somerville provides to this album. I recommend it to anyone who loves After Forever or looking for something with fast music.
