A special addition to the Constellation library,

This review is from: Systemic Constellation Work is an Art: About Deep Dimensions of Family Therapy (Paperback)
Systemic Constellation Work - sometimes known as Systemic Family Constellation Work - is a stunning new healing process that is gradually making its way into the United States from Europe.
There is no theory in this process, rather there is the understanding that we carry many of our ancestors' struggles, tragedies and exclusions, even when they are long gone and sometimes even unknown to us. Once we are able see the hidden dynamics of past generations and are able to honor our ancestors' struggles and their losses, we gain peace and the opportunity to live our own lives. There are many books and DVDs about Constellation which that are emerging as the modality becomes more popular. Heinz Stark, one of the master trainers of Systemic Constellation Work with an early association with Bert Hellinger, offers this book that repeatedly demonstrates that the work is not mere technique. Rather, it is a process that is alive and elegant in its simplicity as well as fertile ground for expressing creative energy. Stark describes his work in various settings, including the descendants of Nazi perpetrators and Holocaust survivors in Germany, European-Americans who emigrated to the United States and the Native Americans who are still reeling from the destruction of their lands and culture.

Heinz Stark writes:
"In training we are not receivers of a doctrine of salvation but students of an exciting new way of thinking and experiencing life. Training means wrestling with doubts and awe, insights and rising up of newly occurring questions;it means a space to examine disparities of observations and exceptions to orders or rules." This book provides a valuable resource for all of us engaging the many challenges involved with the theory and practice of systemic constellation work.
