For those who are wondering YES it does work perfectly with your Android smart phones (i have a note 2) receive, make calls hands free (even shows contacts) bluetooth streaming audio... navigation works excellent( call streets by name and all) I am really satisfied... for the price, UNBEATABLE ($250.00)....However it could use MID in the eq setting and music play back one touch takes you to the previous song (annoying when you want to replay a song) all in all I would recommend this radio to everyone especially those with a tight budget. ..bless

Good for the price. GPS is awesome. Nice video resolution. Blue tooth works nice (you can also listen to music mp3 or Pandora from your cell). The bad thing: it is too deep to fit in any car. I have a 2007 Tahoe, and I had to make drastic modifications to make it fit (like cutting some plastic frames inside the dash). See complete review: [...]

I hate looking for car stereos. No matter how careful I am, there is always a feature that I forgot to include in my checklist. With less expensive stereos like this one, that's always the case.

Pros
Bright hi res display, not great in sunlight but ok.
Good sound, decent output, no distortion that I can hear
Separate volume settings for each function (music, nav, etc.)
Separate microphone for Bluetooth phone (long cable) -- Big plus in my noisy Jeep
Navigation with POI's (nearest gas station, etc.) and separate GPS antenna (long cable) -- nice feature
iPhone cable, seems to work well with iPhone (see cheesy screens below)
USB connector (front or back)
Full compliment of audio connections (preamp out, av in, sub woofer, etc)
Physical Volume knob, Mute button (that was important to me)
Front SD/USB/Aux Input
Steering wheel control wiring
RDS Function

Cons
Poor documentation. I have no idea what some of the settings do.
Yes, you can play your Android through Bluetooth, but no track info, etc. and play controls are buried in the BT menu
Interface is not intuitive which is complicated by the poor documentation
Big (deep), I had to remove the stock rear mounting bracket on my 2008 Wrangler. Not an easy task.
Cheesy animated screens on some functions
Limited wallpaper choices, inability to load you own wallpapers
Strange, unexplained functions (T-V?, Comm port?), which you can enable but don't seem to function
RDS station information small and hard to read

As with most of these imports the documentation is terrible. For instance, what is GPS. MIX. Documentation states: GPS. MIX: click that icon to switch on/off that. (huh?!

well....it worked for 10 minutes sort of - enough time to take it from the professional installer back home. it takes about 2 minutes to load up the software everytime you start up your car, so if you want to even use your backup camera(if installed) you have to wait the 2 minutes to get a video feed from your camera, or anything else for that matter. I was willing to ignore that, until I was testing out the navigation function on the way home, and when i had reached my destination, the screen went black, and wouldnt come back. The video feed on the screen for the reverse camera still works, and the music still plays, but no display. I took it back to the installer, we did a soft reset, but it wouldnt work. so he pulled it out and inspected it again, did a hard reset, reinstalled it and we both came to the conclusion that it had a serious internal problem, and that I should take it up with the manufacturer and redeem the warranty, or return it and get my money back. I have contacted both the seller AND the manufacturer. We'll see what happens...

I just bought this Head Unit (HU) at Fry's Electronics for only $200 - sorry Amazon. It is fully feature packed comparable to units costing $100s more. I read their reviews and the BOSS reviews and everybody has something everyone does not like about something....so why spend upwards of $1000 for a unit that is still not perfect?
What is Great:
1. Full Feature unit with Navigation, BT, USB input (front and rear), iPod input, RCA input, SD Card, plays DVD and virtually any other media format you can think of, 3.5mm jack, large screen, great colors, great sound, Rear View Camera input, Steering Wheel controls input, BT microphone, GPS Antenna, Wireless Remote control, virtually all the bells and whistles you would like to have in a new Nav unit.
2. Sound is Great and better on my stock speakers than I got out of the Factory HU
3. Back up camera is Outstanding clarity on the screen
4. DVD play is Outstanding clarity on the screen
5. Immediate recognition of media loaded via USB or iPod connectors
6. Preloaded backgrounds, EQ screen and USB / iPod player have fun motion screens / graphics
7. Connecting steering wheel controls did not require an ASWC-1 interface (saved $50 on that alone)
8. You do not need to buy a Parking Break bypass to play DVD (saved $20)
9. A lot more to like about it that I cannot think of at this time

Not so good:
1. As noted in other reviews the User guide is not that great and will show nothing of an install nature. If you are not already somewhat handy and cannot perform internet searches to fill in the gaps then you will be very frustrated.
2. The touchscreen response could be better and takes some practice and getting used to. And even then you may have a hard time making it go where you want it to
3.
