When I was 12 (13 years ago), I heard the strangest, weirdest, coolest song ever. It was called Hier Kommt Kurt (or something like that) and it was by Frank Zander. That was back in the non-internet days, so I wasn't able to find out any info about this elusive Frank Zander until today...I never knew he did the DA DA DA song...Anyway, this cd is for people who like strange music, or for people who like German.

You know, if I was a German teacher, I'd get any of his music to make learning German more fun. I was stationed in Germany for 6 years, the first time in the late 70's and again in the 90's. Since my name is Curt, I was encouraged to learn more German to translate the hilarious song "Hier Kommt Kurt" and later, "Guten Morgen, liebe Sorgen" (Good morning my worries!"). You don't need to understand German to fall in love with this guy's music, but it sure makes you laugh harder when you undertand his zany lyrics.
