I bought this because of the great price and features. Thus far, I've used 4 of the AA batteries, and I've recharged some AAA batteries I had around the house.

I love the individual channels, as my biggest complaint with other systems was having to charge a pair of batteries together.

The charger works well, and clearly displays the status of each battery using the LEDs.

Only downside is that the charger makes a slight clicking noise.

Update:

After owning the charger longer, I've come to appreciate the recondition button, that will drain and recharge your batteries. It worked great on some older NiMH batteries I had, bringing them back to full life.

Just recently (approximately 11 months into ownership) 2 of the charging bays stopped working correctly, and now only blink red even when no batteries are inserted.

I bought this item specifically because it was supposed to be Ni-MH and Ni-Cd compatible. Amazon, multiple other providers, and even the specifications on Tenergy's own website state that it is Ni-MH/Ni-Cd compatible and that battery types can be charged together. Much to my annoyance the packaging, operating instructions, and the unit itself clearly state that is for Ni-MH use ONLY (their emphasis, not mine). I e-mailed Tenergy to inquire why their product information is incorrect - I haven't gotten a response yet, nor do I expect one.

I have it about 3 months with light use. While convenience is great I now have two slots with permanently blinking lights even though no batteries are in these slots

The charger has been very good so far. It will charge any number of batteries as a time, or individually as you put them. Lights tell you when each battery is charging, a problem, or done.

The batteries have been good so far. But not quite sure they are as powerful as they claim. They only last as long as other batteries that I have rated at 2200mah. They are used in the same model of flashes and the same number of times flashed. But for the price even if they are not strong than my other ones. They are still a good bargain, if they last as long before they need replacement.

Had if for four months now, works as expected. I like the fact that it's not a timed charger. If you put an almost full battery into the charger it will only charge what is needed. As far as the batteries go they work pretty good. I have Rayovac Hybrid Rechargeable Batteries that I use in cameria, mouse, keyboards ect. The tenergy batteries work great in the kids toys, an xbox controller can chew up a set of batteries in eight hours. Theses batteries already paid for themselves.

I have owned this product for 1 year and it has been great. I bought this charger since most of the chargers out there require you to charge even numbers of batteries at a time and most of my children's toys use 3 batteries. It is convenient to be able to charge any number of batteries at a time since all of the channels are independent. This also allows you to charge AA and AAA batteries at the same time and NiCD and NiMH batteries at the same time. This charger also comes with a feature to discharge batteries which can help extend the life of the batteries. The only complaint I have had is if the batteries have been run to a very low charge sometimes the charger flashes red indicating that the batteries are defective. If I put the batteries in a different charger for a brief time and then transfer over to the T-6280 then they fully charge with no further problems. I would recommend having another battery charger available just for this reason.
