Works just as it says. It can take a while though, I wish it was a little quicker especially with the hybrid batteries, for some reason these take twice as long to charger however they do hold their charger twice as long so maybe this is why.

When you purchase a Smart Charger your getting the best. When you buy a "Quick Charger" your getting the worst. The new technology is kind of hard to grasp for a non-techie. So, I will make it simple for you. Buy AA batteries 2900 MaH rated and you'll be very happy. Anything lower in MaH you won't be happy. Buy AAA's at 1000 MaH or higher and you'll be happy. Anything lower and you wont. Buy a smart charger that takes 9-15 hours to charge AA's and 3-6 hours to charge AAA's. If it takes less time to charge your batteries then your battery life won't last as long and you'll be buying more rechargeable's then you have too. This is the best charger I have found. There is one more that charges batteries COLD that is really the best but at $120.00 I'll hold on to this one for $40.00
