This griddle is the best I have ever had the pleasure to work with. The heat spot is a great feature and after a certain temperature, the griddle stays there perfectly, not getting warmer or cooler in temperature which is a fault of other similar griddles. It is also very easy to handle.

On a personal note, I am from India and I have not found a better product for making Indian roti and dosa. I highly recommend this griddle for anyone who is looking to buy a new one. It is worth every penny!

I suppose that if a product serves it's intended purpose, it should receive a good review. This griddle does exactly that. It makes the best pancakes of any pan I own, including Calphalon, and I've even made scrambled eggs, fried ham, kielbasa, and other items on it, without anything ever sticking to it. In about 4 minutes at medium low, the spot in the center turns solid red, which means the pan is ready for cooking. If you're making pancakes, about a minute on each side and they're perfect. Simple pan for simple purpose, great price, and still looks good after 3 months of heavy use. Perfect!

Got this griddle for christmas '03. It is a wonderful product! Do not know how I got along without it. Great for eggs (any variety, omelette to scrambled) to pancakes. Also, it is much easier for my 5 year daughter to use (with supervision of course) to make pancakes. Clean up is as easy as running water, little dishsoap and wiping down. Am online now purchasing more T-Fal products (goodbye old pans!).

This is a very good product and I use it every Sunday when I make pancakes.

I purchased the first T-Fal square griddle @ Sears approx. four years ago. The product has been the best I have owned and has stood up to average abuse. The only use has been pan cakes.
One consideration is the warranty. This pan became concave in nature, became less tolerant of even heat and lost it's ability to have a non stick surface. The "lifetime" warranty was questioned by myself to T-Fal. I received a letter back from T-Fal requesting I send them back the pan for adjustment with the original receipt. Then they would decide if the pan would be adjusted.
This pan has been a good to very good quality product. I have ordered a replacement through Amazon, still awaiting delivery three weeks after the order date.
