Frying food is fun, but clean-up is a hassle--until now. The T-Fal Ultimate EZ Clean Deep Fryer is the only fryer that automatically filters, drains and stores the messy oil without touching it. After cooking, simply place the fryer on top of the oil container. When cooled, the oil automatically drains into the storage container--filtered and ready to use again. The timer didn't shut off the fryer.. so it's not worth $10 extra comparing to FA7000002.

I'm not as confident using this product as I was my Delonghi Safely Fryer.
Both have their pluses and being able to throw 90% of this item in the dishwasher is one of them. I felt very confident and safe using my Delonghi but not with the EZ Clean. I think they should go back to the drawing board and make this alittle more stable but the idea is great. My Delonghi was stinking up my house and the only really dishwashable part was the lid. The non stick finish was a joke but I felt safe with the easy to lower basket with the lid shut. EZ Clean does save money on oil as it's smaller (just the right size for a family of 4) and I can drain the oil into the oil bowl that's included AFTER it cools down (about 2 hrs). This is a nice item but you have to be careful with it around children as you do any hot item. Mine are little Indians (no offence against Indians) and I try and keep them out of the kitchen when I'm cooking with this item. I did have to increase the time to cook up to another minute on my items to get them as crisp as I did my Delonghi.
Hope this helps with your decision. I'd buy it again if they upgraded it.

This is a great little fryer. It's easy to use, and SO EASY to clean. Drain the oil into the included plastic container and put everything in the dishwasher. What a breeze! It is small - but we only cook for two people so that doesn't bother us. The timer is pretty much useless, but for the price it was a great purchase.
