T-Fal Prima Iron has a non-stick soleplate for effortless glide on fabric. Both the anti-slip and stable heel prevents tipping over for added safety as well as the 3-way Auto off. I always come to amazon to read the reviews on products before I make my decisions on a purchase. I did not purchase the iron here on Amazon but I paid a little less at a department store. I have been searching for an iron for months now because our Rowenta started dripping out brown water onto our clothes. Then we purchased a Sunbeam...never again it leaked from the spray button on top. Even my husbands brother had a Sunbeam and it did the same thing. Well because of the reviews we decided to try the T-Fal Prima Iron...I am so excited and relieved that it does not drip nor spit as another reviewer commented.

The iron has a nice weight to it and it irons very well. Just make sure you read the directions before using the iron because they are specific. I thought something was wrong with the dial but the buttons need to be set a certain way before use. I will provide an update should this iron decide to do anything different (which I pray it doesn't). We are very pleased with this purchase and think you will be too. :0)

I own a sewing studio and have four of these - they take beating and are often on for hours at a time. I also have hard water and have to clean them regularly and they have held up with no problems. I like the auto-off feature for safety reasons; they heat up quickly when turned back on. I have referred many of my students to amazon to buy them because they love them, too!

I have to say this t-fal is well worth the money as it irons just as well as a Rowenta or any other high dollar iron as I have them all and use every one of them when I iron my clothes. But this one stands out as being the only one to cool off the fastest after ironing as You don't have to wait 30 minutes or longer so You can save it up. All the functions work flawlessly. But I have to say this onew is one of my favorites of them all. You will have no regrets with this iron.
