No Complaints,

Received this as a wedding gift in December.
I have used it many times now and am very happy. One time fried left over potatoes and eggs for brunch. Another time cooked up New York Sirloin Steak. And most recently cooked a dozen bacon strips at once. Can easily wipe down with paper towel. It makes dish washing this effortless.

The T-fal Double burner Griddle works great. It performs very well on my bridge burner on my glass cooktop. I've made pancakes several times as well as grill cheese sandwiches. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm looking forward to trying it with other foods.

double burner griddle,
This review is from: T-Fal Specialty 18 x 11-Inch Nonstick Double Burner Family Griddle, Black (Kitchen)
This griddle only had two reviews when I foolishly bought it! Its handle interfere with it properly sitting on my ceramic cooktop. It does have a smooth bottom which is essential for a cermaic cooktop. That is the only good thing I have found about this griddle. The handles are too large and will not allow it to sit properly on the cooktop so that it cannot heat evenly. It wasn't very expensive and is rather light in construction which goes to prove you get what you pay for. I have the Frigidaire professionals series stove so....if you have the same stove do not get this griddle!

I bought this to replace an old T-Fal griddle I had since the 80's, which I loved. I am replacing a lot of my coookware because we just bought a place with an electric stove (coil-type). I have anodized aluminum and it just doesn't work well on this overly hot stove. I have better luck with cast iron and tri-ply, but I don't like making eggs, pancakes, french toast on cast iron. In short, I think this would work well on gas and glasstop electric with the bridge burners. It's not horrible, but there is a very noticible cooking time difference between the areas that contact the burner and the area between. Almost takes twice the time to cook in the middle area. I have two batches of pancakes from the burner areas done by the time the first batch from the center is done. I didn't have this problem on the gas stove. But my old T-Fal griddle is also thicker. You just have to keep more of an eye on it than I'm used to. If you don't mind this, it is a decent value.

Warped on first use,

Using for the first time I followed the labeled directions and set the two burners and bridge element at medium low heat and the griddle pan (which initially sat perfectly flat on the stove top) warped from corner to corner creating a wobble of about half an inch by the time it was warm enough to brown a grilled cheese sandwich. Not terribly effective for a flat top range. When cooled the pan regained some of it's original shape but still has about a quarter of an inch of wobble from corner to corner. Very disappointing. The label indicated that it was safe up to 350 degrees but mine warped well below that temperature. Too bad, it's a nice looking piece of cookware and the padded handles are a nice feature but worthless if you can't use it.
