Good and long lasting non-stick surface, but the bottom surface became not flat after several times on a electric range. Please see the photo attached. So my rating is only an "OK".

Pros:
Can cook for an army in it
lightweight
easy to clean
good at steam cooking on low heat

Cons:
The heat does not distribute at all. Things in the middle burn, things on the outside edges are raw.
Lid is a little flimsy. The alumnim around the edge was bent in transport though it was adequately packaged and sustained no damage. Good news is it was so flimsy I could bend it right back.

Over the years, I have noticed that the quality of T-Fal products falling. No exception for this one.The surface is coarse and even if you wipe the cooking surface with paper towel or tissue, the sand-paper-like (much more coarse than 00 sandpaper!) would gather paper fiber.

The additional handle is a welcome feature. The grooves on the bottom prevents contacts with certain ranges and makes it hard to clean.

If you have a glass top stove, you may want to know that the bottom of this cooker has metal ridges. It is not flat. Hopefully they will add that in the description in the near future as I feel that is important to know. Also, a picture of the bottom would be nice. I'm returning it to Amazon, thanks to their wonderful customer service, it's not a problem.

I bought this mostly because of the recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. I needed a large 12" pan for one-pan dishes, and this pan was perfect for size, weight, and clean-up. Unfortunately, after only 4 months of use, the bottom domed. Now when I add oil for frying, it all runs to the outer edges. Not good.

Pros: large size and high sides, glass lid
Cons: not suited for high-heat frying

This pan definitely is hotter in the middle than on the edges and I followed the reviews advice with not going higher than a medium heat. With all the 5 star reviews I had better hopes for the pan. I've made potstickers and pierogies and the like in it so far and the ones in the middle get browned while those away from the middle do not. For scrambled eggs or skillet meals it may be fine but for individual items I don't like it too much. I don't cook meat but I'd hate to see how burgers would turn out. The price is fantastic, it feels of good quality, nice and roomy, but I would keep searching if you want a pan that cooks evenly. By the way, I am a cheap skate and not that picky about my cookware. This just wasn't up to par.

This has been one of my favorite pans for a couple years now. That changed today when the lid suddenly imploded while I was simmering some baked beans on the stove. I had the lid tilted on the pan to let out steam and the pan was on a medium hot stove when the lid just suddenly shattered into a hundred pieces. I have never seen anything like this happen! I am a little worried now because I recently purchased all T-fal cookware. I am hoping it was a freak accident. I still have this pan three stars because it was my favorite and the pan still works without the lid.

This pan has a very rough bottom that scratched my glass stovetop on the second use. Packaging claims it can be used on such a stovetop but make sure you do not scuff it at all as it scratches easily. I do not recommend it - get a pan with a smooth bottom. Otherwise I like the pan. My mom recommended it for me as she loves hers (on electric burner). She said definitely don't use it over high heat.

I'm not going to complain too much because this pan was pretty cheap.

Pros:
Light
Non-stick surface is holding up fairly well
Pretty good size

Cons:
Light: so it's not super sturdy either. The pan warped so the lid doesn't fit on it anymore. The handles come loose very easily and need to be tightened with a screw driver.

I have used this mainly on Sundays for the Mutton, Oxtails and Shrimp plus other large pot meals. Just a regular large good pot. nice for the price, No problem with "warpage". I use a gas range.
