This steamer is so easy to use!
Vegetables keep all their nutrient but more important they taste sooo good!
Being a mom of 2 young kids, I can't spend hours in the kitchen, with the steamer, I put the timer on and the cooking stops automatically when the food is ready. This is very convenient.

I was very happy to find this steamer at such a great price and when I ordered it, I also got to take advantage of the free shipping....it is easy to use, does a great job...I can steam two vegetables at the same time and then store them for later in the week...it cleans easily, stores easily and is a healthy way to cook food...you can also make hard boiled eggs and steam rice...two features that I have not tried yet, but I am sure I will soon...this is just another great buy from Amazon, and the shipping was super fast. I buy quite a bit from Amazon and this item was just another wonderful find.

A well designed machine with a poorly written and often misleading manual. If you do purchase this item, down load the latest manual from the T-Fal web site. The latest one is still full of confusing instructions, but it not as bad with the one that was enclosed with machine I purchased.

In addition, capacity is very limited. It would be useful only if you are cooking for one or two people. It would be useful in a small kitchen if the cook is willing to experiment to learn the quirks of this machine.

If you are looking for a rice cooker the Black and Decker models work better, cook more and are cheaper.

I can only put small bowls in it, but there are no alternatives in the market. Wish they had place 2 rice bowls instead of just 1 so that problem 1 would not exist.
Other than this, it seems to be working fine.

I have had this steamer for a few years and use it all the time. I don't often steam two things at once, but on the few occasions that I have, the double stacking was a nice feature. Overall it's easy to use, works well, has lasted a long time, and is easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

It looks good and works great. Just follow the instructions for perfectly steamed vegetables and rice. What a deal!!!
