I love my cool touch fryer. I, ME, broke my last one and had a devil of a time finding another. Turns our T-Fal discontinued the nicest and easiest to use and handle deep fryer they ever made. Right after frying, you can pick it up and put it away with your bare hands. The top is solid, vented and has a seal to keep the oil sloshing out when you move it. I feel I was lucky to find another one brand new and in the original box. Good luck finding one and if you do you better take care of it cuz you probably won't find another. The only drawback is T-Fal only has a few repair centers scattered around the country and small appliance repair shops won't touch them. I'm still going to send my broken one to see if they will repair it as a just-in-case.
