Have been listening to Fattburger since the early 80's when they
were a fixture at the PB Cafe in Pacfic Beach, CA. They play great jazz/funk. I recently started picking up their CD's and I am glad I did. Lots of great memories and great music.
I recommend all their CD's.

5.0 out of 5 stars More great stuff from Fatt..., August 16, 2001

Another great CD from Fattburger. First got into these guys from 'All Natural Ingredients' and haven't looked back!!! They're on the list as one of those groups which you need to collect all their music (a task which I'm going to do...). Particularly liked the cut 'Mum's the Word', although the rendition of 'Evil Ways' is also very nice! Only problem with this CD is that it's TOO SHORT--as one reviewer said, how about 60 mins???????

4.0 out of 5 stars A TASTY TREAT FROM FATTBURGER, July 16, 2001

Although on the lean side time wise (only 39mins of music _ c'mon guys, you can serve up more than this per cd) TGIF offers more smooth, slinky grooves. Highlight is Fattburger's cover of the Santana classic, Evil Ways, which is complete with wicked guitar licks that would do Carlos proud. This track has been begging for a rework and Fattburger pull out all stops to get it funky. Another standout is Take Six, a beautiful free flowing piece with sensual alto sax work throughout. Fattburger have what it takes but need too unleash more of themselves on future releases. How about 60mins per cd?

5.0 out of 5 stars Fattburger with latin rock flavour, July 17, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: T.G.I.F. (Audio CD)
I received their earlier cd "Fattburger.com" as an birthday gift, found the cd highly enjoyable to listen to and now I am back for more. What a surpise! Fattburger has aptly include a nice track "Evil Ways" into the new cd "T.G.I.F" album, which is Latin rock legend Santana's fans all time best favorite number. Another lovely track is the "Take Six" with seductive sax works. I don't know about the rest of you reading this review, but I have made up my mind to go get 2 of the cd to send it as a birthday gift to the buddy who I gave me the cd "Fattbureger.com" and keep one for myself to enjoy.
