I bought this screen protector for my G1 just...in case.

But I have to admit, I find MANY more uses for the mirror finish than I expected, rather than just a novelty. The screen is slightly more difficult to see in direct sunlight, but any phone has that problem. It's worth it for the mirror finish alone, however I have to mention the screen feels smoother and flatter---it's easier to move my finger on the screen (note for the first week or so it was a little sticky by comparison). Not a single air bubble and NO WATER required. It fits perfectly over the G1 screen---friends who hadn't seen a G1 before are unaware the screen protector isn't a part of the phone out-of-the-box. Absolutely works the same for touching the screen----no lost or weird touches.

Pretty much exactly as advertised. It included a little cloth for cleaning the screen before and the protector after. Watch out for air bubbles when sticking it on. I didn't notice any problems with the touchscreen after application, although the tactile sensation was a little different.

Being a mirrored surface fingerprints are much more noticeable than before,but clean off easily. Also when the LCD is on it now has a slight rainbowy glimmer to it. It reminds me of looking through 3d glasses. It may take some getting use to.

Bargaincell is a great company to deal with, very fast shipping. I will buy from them again but this product is just a waste of money. There is a rainbow haze over the entire screen when using the mirrored screen protector.

It works as advertised when the screen is off, but it distorts colors a little when the screen is on. Whites look more like yellows, and if seen from an angle you get kind of a faint rainbow reflection. When in sunlight the screen is completely unreadable. I used it for about two weeks but I took it off. Also it was a pain in the ass to put on, but that's probably my fault.

Waste of money; the "mirror" doesn't even reflect that well. Also if you still have a G1 it's time to upgrade.

I read every review before purchasing this product for myself, and they were all dead on...
The mirror was awesome and actually very functional... However, it's nearly impossible to see anything in sunlight and the screen colors get a little distorted through the protector, with a kind of rainbow effect to the screen... The protector also picks up scratches pretty easily, which is makes using the mirror rather bothersome...
So, if you're OK with the cons I'd suggest this... You could always just remove the protector if it's too big of a pain...

What an amazing product. Worth the money. When the screen is off, it works as a mirror and when it turns on, it's your normal phone. it also keeps it fron scratches and dirt. The product comes with a little screen wipe, it's amazing. I really recommend this product. Just remember to use the installation thingy to flat out the screen protector :)

I've heard a lot of bad things about mirrored screen protectors but I figured at under $2 I'd give it a shot. I bought a standard clear protector just in case. I must say I really like the mirror finish. I've only been using it for about a week and really like it. The ONE issue that I've come across is colors can be a little off in some lights. Not always the case, I've only noticed it a couple times and I have no way of doing a side by side comparison but figured I'd mention it. I gave it 4 stars and would have given it 4.5 if I could.

The Mirror LCD screen protector is only usable when you are indoor , once you are under sunlight , you cannot see the screen , it literally becomes like a pice of mirror rather than screen protector , i didnt like it and not using it now.

it is difficult to see the screen sometimes, especially in the sun with the mirror reflection. also the screen protector is kind of thick which annoyed me rubbing against my finger.
