This is a cute little alphabet rhyming book with fine illustrations for each letter. A few of the illustrations are pictures of things or people and this is just fine since the purpose of the book is for young children to become familiar with the 26 letters in the alphabet. To the author's credit, she manages to get pretty good Thanksgiving Holiday examples for each letter and keeps the poem within the Thanksgiving Holiday theme. I especially liked the "find it" games with answers (3 of them) and the "find what is different" in two similar pictures (two of them). Children will really enjoy them and parents will be glad to find the answers to the puzzles on a following page. Sometimes the meter breaks down in the poem, but the book is still a good read for parents and their younger children (age 1-5). If your children are age 4-5 they won't be very interested in the alphabet part of the book, but will enjoy the puzzles. If you have a 2 year old and 4 or 5 year old, this would be the perfect audience since the 4-5 year old child will want to help the younger one solve the puzzles and will love coaching the younger one on learning the alphabet.

I bought this book for my niece who is learning to read. After starting the book, I found that she could read by seeing the pictures and connecting the small words. Also, there are bonus puzzles at the end. Worth the download.

I read this book with my nephew, who loved it. This is a cute picture book which rhymes as it goes through the alphabet.

My nephew can't read quite yet, but had a lot of fun and was very proud because he could say which letter of the alphabet was coming next. He also liked trying to guess what the last word of every rhyming couplet would be. He got some right, which made him very happy! I imagine it would also be fun for a child who is beginning to read, because the sentences are short and have a mix of easy and challenging words. (The pictures help though!)

This book isn't too long, so it's great for short attention spans, and it even has some games at the back, like 'spot the difference'.

Perfect alphabetic book for the month of November! I downloaded this book for my niece who is working diligently on her ABCs and she keeps telling me “T is for Thanksgiving, Aunt Mika!”

The book is full of rhymes and adorable illustrations to keep any young child engaged – all with the Thanksgiving, family and food theme! The games in the back are a nice bonus to keep your child’s attention. My niece and I play every time I see her.

If your little one is learning the alphabet and you are looking to incorporate a holiday theme I highly suggest this adorable book!

The author did a good job coming up with something for each letter of the alphabet that relates to Thanksgiving. I was not quite as impressed with the illustrations she chose. They were so random and basically just looked liked she'd searched images and then copied them. Some were photos others were cartoon like illustrations and they just didn't seem uniform at all. Many of them didn't have a Thanksgiving feel to them.

Thumbs up on the text but the quality of the illustrations was lacking.
