Prior to this iron, I had a HAI stik 1" iron. That was good, but it was getting old and had been dropped a bunch of times, and I really wanted a wider iron for my long hair. I am very happy with the Bespoke Tourmaline iron. I haven't tried it on super wet hair, but it definitely works well on damp hair and so cuts down on blow-drying time. It heats up fast and has fully adjustable temperature settings. I have thick but very fine hair, and I do not feel like it is damaging my hair.
