A MUST READ,
By JERRY LEA OWEN (SHREVEPORT , LOUISIANA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: TAC LEADER: What Honor Requires (Paperback)
A must read if you enjoy the good guys defeat evil (with a military back ground of honor and service to our country)--Hoo rah! Bob Anderson holds the highest enlisted rank in the Air Firce Reserves--Chief Master Sargent, two Ph D's, and not only looks the part but may have "done the job" at times. He writes so much like one of my favorite authors--James Lee Burke ( 24 novels). Doc and Gonzo in this story remind me of Burkes' --Earl Swagger (Viet Nam Snipper) story. More than ever we need these great American Heroes---A hard to put down book . Jerry Lea Owen (another old Salt)

Superb! An original story about a forgotten code.,
By Loki "Lucien" (San Jose, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: TAC LEADER: What Honor Requires (Paperback)
This is a compelling story about duty and honor; about doing what is right, not what is easiest. The originality of the story grabs you and quickly pulls you into the world of clandestine military operations. Bob Anderson does a superb job in developing the story line and characters quickly and gets on with the business of telling the story. Based on real people, real feelings, and sincere camaraderie TAC LEADER tells a story of what we would all like to accomplish in our lives of which only a few of us ever do. What makes this book so special is the professionally intimate relationships and bonding that this band of do-gooders exudes. It makes you feel good and proud to be an American!
The ending is totally unexpected and brilliantly written as an effortless segue for continuing the trilogy. I like flashback stories and Bob expertly uses this technique to set the stage for a thrill ride fit for connoisseurs of weaponry and martial arts and the proper use thereof. TAC LEADER is a excellent book by a fine author and friend.

Real life action,
This review is from: TAC LEADER: What Honor Requires (Paperback)
This is a well written, compelling book with likeable and well developed characters. It's most refreshing to read a book of this type where all the military stuff is gotten right. It's a real page turner and I highly recomend it.

Couldnt Put It Down,
By dale hanson (League City, Texas, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: TAC LEADER: What Honor Requires (Paperback)
ATTENTION!!! I couldnt put this down when I started reading it...start this book on a weekend, in case you cant put it down, or you'll end up like me, dragging your butt into work the next day suffering from an all-nighter...when one first starts the "read" of this book, its obvious that the author is writing from a angle of deep personal knowledge. He has written it so the "non-military" reader can relate and get in the groove of the good guys and utterly detest the bad guys. I loved the ending.... That is all.

Good vs Evil,
By A fellow G.I. (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: TAC LEADER: What Honor Requires (Paperback)
From the moment you pick this book up you can't put it down. It is action packed and an easy read. The author uses very descriptive language to help you understand military concepts, weapons and acronyms. The dossiers are wonderful, it takes me back to the old G.I. Joe series where each member had a Dossier. The good guys are seemingly ordinary folks that are thrust into extraordinary circumstances. Their backgrounds help them, but you will find characters that you can relate to or that are like someone you know. The bad guys are so bad that the author has you wanting to jump into the book to take them on yourself. You will find yourself cheering for the good guys and hoping that the bad guys get what's coming to them. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting to see if Doc and his team live to fight another day. The ending will leave you anticipating the next installment of the trilogy.

Extraordinary book with an exciting future,
By Layne R. Wroblewski (Edmond, Oklahoma) - See all my reviews
This review is from: TAC LEADER: What Honor Requires (Paperback)
This was an exceptional book that brought excitement throughout. Recognizing the author's emphasis on generational relationship building, it was great to see two seasoned individuals create a dynamic that many would not have expected. The author went great lengths to show the reader all the descriptions of the military gringo associated with the book. The author also writes the book as if you're right there--I was on the edge of my seat, wishing I had literally experienced what these participants did! What was most exciting was how the author ended the book--you definitely can't wait to read the next version. He leaves it open to experience more of the next-generation of both leadership and management series! Take this book as more than an adventure--recognize the leadership and management snippets the author portrays throughout the book.

This review is from: TAC LEADER: What Honor Requires (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book. It is full of action, adventure, and excitement. It is written from a prespective of someone who has been in the real world. Anyone who enjoys a good action novel ought to love this one. There are a few editoral errors, but those can be overlooked easily. I have strongly recommeded this book to friends and would recommend it to anyone interested in special operations.
