We purchased the Pitching Pad so my daughter can get some extra practice when she doesn't have a catcher. It really is a well-made product and absorbs the pitches so the balls don't ricochet everywhere. Also, my 8 year old daughter is having fun learning to pitch with the Pitching Pad. The pad is big and bulky, so will not be easy to transport. We purchased to use at home and did have to buy a frame to put it on, which added an extra $80 to the cost. We also made a cover out of tarps to keep it protected from rain and sun damage. Overall we believe it was a good purchase and are pleased with the quality of the product.
