Amazing Tracker Ball Maze

We bought this for our son's first birthday. I had a similar toy as a kid and also had something like this, but plastic, for a 1 year old when I was a nanny. I really hesitated because the price is high for us but I'm so glad I bought this. It is very sturdy, the wood is nicely sanded and assembled. The only "assembly required" is to screw the base to the top, easy. The colorful rails on each ramp I think are plastic, but wood this thin would not be durable so I don't mind at all. The balls which come with the toy are a soft rubber so they don't make a horrendous racket. We also use the balls from another toy which are much louder going down which my son enjoys! I'm sure a lot of different balls would fit this toy which I think is great. It is also nice that the toy is 2-sided so when the neighbor kids come over to play two can play with it at one time without pushing and shoving.

Our son immediately got the hang of putting the balls in the top, then he figured out to place them on ramps half way down. It wasn't long before he could anticipate the ball path and grab one off while in motion. He's also learning about what things are round and will roll by sticking everything which will fit into the toy ;)

This toy could tip over on your little one if they pull too hard while learning to stand, but it's not heavy so I didn't worry about it. I love this and would highly recommend. The shipping was prompt as well.

Two years and one cross-country move later and this toy is now my 8 month old daughter's favorite thing. We love it!

This is a great toy for many reasons! First, my 14 month old loves it. Second, it is great for visual tracking, hand-eye coordination, and learning to squat and stand. Third, it is made from a quality toy company. It is a must have toy for any toddler!

We do not own this toy but our local public library does and brings it out at the end of storytime. It is a hit every time even though by now 2 year old son attends storytime weekly. It is a popular toy from crawling infants to standing pre-schoolers. The only negative thing is that you have to watch out for the infants that are learning to walk/stand as they tend to climb this to stand and drop the balls through the top so it tends to tip over when they do this. However, it has held up at the library for years and no child has gotten hurt despite this.

We got this for my son for his 12-month birthday and he loves it. He doesn't track the balls so much yet, but loves getting them from the bottom and putting them back in the top. His 4-yr old sister enjoys that it has two sides so they can both play with it at the same time without fighting.
It's a great quality toy and we look forward to him playing with it for a long time.

W'eve bought so many toys over the years for our 2 children, and too many of them sit in their rooms without being touched for months at a time. Not this one! I had an idea that this would be popular since their great-grandmother has a handmade wooden marble run that is always a hit. This is a versatile "ball run" with the ability to take different sizes of balls, including marbles, though we have found that marbles sometimes will "bounce" off the track and don't use them often because of the choking hazard. The kids actually seem to enjoy retrieving the marbles if they hop off the tracks. Our daughter is 6 years and our son is 17 months, and they both enjoy playing with this toy, especially together which is thankfully possible because it is open-sided and large...so no fighting over this toy! The 6 balls that come with the toy are a somewhat soft plastic material and large enough to not worry about choking, something that was a priority when we were searching for a ball run. The bottom base is great, wide enough to provide stability so the toy doesn't tip over, and a good feature for catching the balls when they get to the bottom. We store the balls in the base as well. Our daughter has a "Hex" bug, a small toy that vibrates to move like a bug, and she'll turn it on and put it in the top hole and sure enough it will head it's way down all the tracks. What a great classic toy for kids! We would definitely purchase this again, it was worth the money!
