I have owned it for over two years now, abused it in every possible way, hit it with carbide tools from time to time and no a single scratch. It is a great buy, at a great price. Highly recommended. Go Kimi, show them what a ferrari can do.

I bought this watch from Amazon in 2005 for a great price. Was very pleased with my purchase. I knew then that Amazon is not an authrized re seller and they would offer their own warranty for 2 years. I also checked that certain things like the crown and strap were not covered under the amazon warranty. These things are also not covered under the original TAG warranty one would get if the watch was bought from an authorized reseller like Jared. Fast forward to March 2008 and I realized that one of the buttons operating the chronograph was shaky at the crown. This not being covered under warranty I took it to a TAG store to get it fixed on my own accord.

Here is what I found...Since this watch is bought from Amazon its unique number is not present in the TAG database. Every time a TAG dealer has to order a spare part for a watch , it can only be ordered against the unique number. Based on the unique number a spare part is sent to the service shop which matches that watch exactly. There are variations and so the spare part is not generic.

So as per the TAG service center I am stuck with a watch that I can only send back to Amazon.....and maybe they might be able to repair the crown....not sure...DILEMMA!!!!!!!

great watch...worth the money i paid for it. this is my second tag heuer F1 chrono and i just love them.

I purchased this watch for my husband as a give. He is having a hard time getting the chronograph to work. He has read the instructions twice, and is still a problem. Over all, he (and I) like the watch. He has wanted a Tag Heuer watch for some time now.

My reason for the low rating is the condition in which the watch was received from Jewels Warehouse. 6 weeks after lodging my complaint via Amazon and with the company direct no communication has been received back which means to me they cannot be bothered with after sales. I would definitley purchase from Amazon again, but not Jewels Warehouse purely based on the condition of the watch and the non existent after sales service.

I wanted a cool watch for my strait A student, "fabulous son" who will graduate high school this May. He deserves a Great gift!
This Tag Heuer is a beautiful watch and jewelry piece. It serves the purpose of fashion and necessity. It will justify his need while camping in Yosemite State Park this summer. It will also serve a purpose of style while he is in the classroom at college. This watch will very well take him into adulthood. All in a manner of smart class and great taste.

I got this watch to my husband and he loves it! This watch was a gift to wear on weekends, when he goes out fishing on the boat, but now he wears it to work too! He got many compliments on it and he enjoys showing it off to his friends.

This watch will carry a warranty of 5 years from amazon which is plus point for buying from amazon. The stand warranty is just 1 years if you would have bought this from anyone else. The down side is that, if the watch s sent to repais undr warranty then the repairs are not done by Tag Heuer, but a franchisee.

I recently received the 2007 version of this watch soon after the Malaysian GP (different style from the picture above), which both Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton are wearing. The workmanship is excellent, the style is a subtle evolution from the Kimi Raikonnen model it replaced, and instructions are fairly easy to understand. My only quibble is that the warranty should be longer than 2 years, but other than that, it's certainly a must-have!
