TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. Purchased a similar style watch (TAG) for my husband this past Christmas (approx. $700) and although it was ok - it was not as nice as this one - so I paid the difference of $150.00. If you want something for going out, not really the watch for you, this is instead a nice athletic style watch; something you can wear everyday.
Be weary of the face size as well. My husband really likes big "manly" faces and this one was just big enough. I believe 44 mili.

Very good watch, has all the features. At first could not get used to the rubber band, I am ok with it now. I rather have a SS bracelet any time.

I purchased this watch directly from Amazon.com on sale in May of 2011 for 1220.00. After I purchased the watch but before I received it in the mail I saw this exact watch at the Tag Heuer store in Dubai selling for 1800.00. I am completly satisifed. I was a little hesitant at first dropping this kind of money for a watch with a rubber strap. But the more I thought about it I am a 32 year old bachelor who doesn't own a tie let alone a suit, so I figured this is exactly the kind of watch that I need. This is something that I wear and looks great with a T-shirt, shorts and sandals.
