I decided to get a nice watch for myself after my old one broke. I decided on this one and it has been flawless. It looks great, keeps time to the second matched to an atomic clock every day and did I say it looks great? My only regret is that I did not get the automatic version but I'll save that for next time.

I was a bit concerned at first making a big purchase from a non-authorized dealer since I was worried about getting service at local shops. Well, the day I got my new Tag I went to a local jewelry store to get a link removed from the band. The jewelry store I went to was an authorized Tag dealer and took out the links free of charge - seems to be the case at many authorized dealers. I highly recommend Tag and Amazon. I saved well over $500 on my new watch!

I really love this watch. I received it as a graduation present from graduate school and couldn't be happier. The watch is of impeccable quality and exhibits professionalism to my clients while not appearing too ostentatious. Tag is the perfect brand for the young professionals of our time. My parents generation wear Rolex or Omega but in this day and age those brands seem too flashy. With this timepiece I can feel proud wearing it while not worrying about people believing I'm trying to show off. Although I am certain I will upgrade in a couple years, I will treasure this watch for countless years to come.

I've worn my 2000 daily for 15 years (wife has the ladies watch)
- Crystal is perfect despite lots of significant abuse
- Stainless steel case and band show minimal wear
- Accurate to within a few seconds a month
- Good service when needed
- Continues to look good dressed up or down
- Pins connecting bracelet to case failed at 13 years, replaced for $2
I fully expect this watch to last another 15 years, if not a lifetime. All things considered, a great value.

I never thought of buying something like a Tag online but a friend recommended I check them out on the internet that I could save a great dealer over the retailers. I trusted Amazon because I have bought so much merchandise in the past through them I thought it was a logical choice. I bought this watch it is outstanding, just like any Tag I would have bought from a jewlery store except a lot cheaper. I know where I am coming to look when it is time for an upgrade.

I went to a local jewelry store at the mall looking at watches with my wife. She wanted to get me something nice for my 50th birthday coming up in December. I didn't really want her to spend a lot for a watch because I would be afraid to scratch it when I wore it. The guy at the store said he could give me 20% their $1400 price for a $200 savings plus tax. I told him I would think about it and later did some research online and found it here on amazon for $895. I was kind of skeptical of the price at fist until I read a some reviews. I'm glad I didn't buy it at the store for $1200.
I never thought I would own a nice watch only having bought 2 Fossil watches the past 10 years both under $100.
I received the package (Oct. 19)a day sooner then I expected and was surprised to find a nice big box for the watch and all the papers inside. I took the watch the next day to a different jewelry store and had 3 links taken out for just $15.
I'm very happy with the watch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality classic style watch at a great price.

I have just purchased this watch (though not from Amazon.com); therefore, I cannot attest to its long-term durability or accuracy. But the watch has met my expectations (so far) and that's the key.

Let's face it - we have expectations about everything, watches notwithstanding. I expected to get a watch that looked great on (check), that had a high brand name recognition (check); that was comfortable to wear (check); that looked masculine (check); that was not afraid of go swimming; so to speak (to be determined); that lasted me a long time (we'll see) and that kept accurate time (again, we'll see; note though, if it turns out to be off by a few seconds a day, it's not a big deal; let's be honest, nowadays watches are barely more than pieces of jewelry and one does not need to own a watch to know the time). I did not expect to receive a watch that broke new ground in design and form. I did not want to get a mechanical watch since I've already got one and know from experience that one has to take very good care of them and have them inspected and tuned regularly. (Besides, I probably would have gone with an authorized dealer for a truly high end mechanical watch because I would have wanted the manufacturer's warranty.) I did not expect this purchase to be a long-term investment either because, well, it isn't, not this type of watch. I'd done plenty of research about this watch and Tag Heuer and calibrated my expectations based on the facts.

Having said that, I'm extremely happy about the watch. It looks really good (though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?), and the craftsmanship appears to be of high quality.

So I'm giving this watch 5 stars...

I just received my new Tag last week and love it. This is the perfect watch. Sporty look, yet luxurious stainless steel band and case. I especially like the illumination of the watch hands and the yellow second hand gives it a unique look. The watch fits snug to my wrist and wears comfortable for it's size. Fast shipping from Amazon, not to mention saving approximately $400 compared with retail stores. Let me finish by saying that I look forward to wearing this watch.

How does one spend so much on a Watch?? Its the brand, the quality and much more accumulating together that makes you do it. This is a classic , elegant watch and does not look flashy or too visible. But is does the job of delivering the look and an image associated with Tag Heuer. The Design is Classic and Durable. Its Sapphire built with great metal hence scratchless. The time is next to perfect - as close to atomic watch. The surface finish is smooth which adds to its whole look and feel. This is one watch that looks good in all seasons whether worn in office or with jeans.

Its a watch worth buying and having for life.

I received my watch on-time and in perfect shape from Amazon (I try to make sure big-ticket items are from Amazon). The watch is beautiful and works great--I only wish I could afford another Tag watch--maybe an automatic. The watch is absolutely a great value on Amazon; though, you will not get the warranty card with it. In my opinion, the extra $500-$600 that you'd spend from an authorized dealer just for a two year warranty is not worth it. The product is a quality product that will likely not malfuction within two years, not to mention that Tag often will not honor the warranty, claiming that the damage is from excessive force, etc. If you did need a repair done within two years (or any time), they are relatively inexpensive even at authorized repair shops/dealers.
