I was a little upset to receive the watch, which was a regular Quartz but quickly fell in love with it. Since then, Amazon has corrected the description. You will have to take the watch to your local watch shop to get the links removed - I got it done for $10. Its so worth not buying at department stores, you save on taxes. The caveat on the 5 year guarantee is that it replaces the standard 2 year Tag Heuer international guarantee, i.e. if you are outside the US and your watch dies on you - you have no recourse. The white face is unique and everyone who has seen it has commented on it. I work in corporate America, so its truly great for wear at work or casually. I havent tried any under water stunts yet, so cant testify to the water levels. If you are trying to stay under a $1000, this is a great 'first nice watch' purchase. I ideally would have gotten a Breitling or an Omega but am happy with this one - as its less common amongst the NYC yuppies.

This is simply the nicest looking watch I've ever owned. My wife and I both have "Tag's" and we couldn't be happier. This men's watch has a white face which differs from all the other blue and silver faces out there. No regrets here!

My husband loves this watch! I bought the black one in the same style previously. I bought it for his wedding gift, & he loved it!!!

I was debating between this and the same watch with a black face. The one with the black face seems to be quite popular since it doesn't stay available for very long. Finally, my 5-year old son says he likes the white one better and since I figured that he would 'inherit' the watch someday (I would likely buy one for him when he's old enough), I bought this one. To me, the watch looks better in person since the white face gives it a clean, crisp, elegant look. I already have a similar watch with a black face and I'm glad my son picked this white one. I don't use it very often since I have an everyday watch. Hopefully, it'll still look brand new when it's time to give it to my son. I told him I was only borrowing it from him until he can wear it. Love the watch!

I do think that Amazon should at least offer 2-day shipping for FREE, especially when someone is buying an item of this value.

Bought it april 08, went to the local tag distributor to evaluate its authenticity. It went through without a hitch, there seems to be no reason not to trust these guys.

I received this watch 3 years ago. I always wanted a Tag and got it as a Wedding gift from my wife (wow). However over the course of 3 years I have had to have the battery replaced twice and the '1' on the numeral 12 has fallen off. For these three issues I have had to return the watch to Tag for repair and the cost for the battery replacement was $50 (I think or may have been $75!) also the last time I sent this in to have the number put back on the face it cost me $100!. The watch comes with a 2 year warranty, battery replacement not included. My wife paid a lot of money for this watch... the most we've either spent for a watch. I had a Seiko for 10 years before this and only replace the battery once and never had anything on the face fall off. Regarding the wear on the watch.... I have an office job so I'm not out banging the watch around. I really wanted to like Tag and thought this would be the last watch for me for a while. It took 1 month to get the watch fixed this last time. Just be aware the name and the cost does not mean you're getting a quality product! Very disappointed in the watch!

This watch is fantastic, authentic, and just what you see in stores for much more money. DOn't hesitate to purchase. My husband has had his for almost 2 years and we've had no problems, registered the serial number with Tag to secure warranty. No problems!

My first online watch purchase... and a very satisfied customer. Got this last week after trying to find the best deal at Amazon. Every time I save it in the cart, the next day, the watch is gone. Only available from a 3rd party seller. Since I desperately wanted this particular watch (white dial), I patiently waited and when it became available again, ordered it FAST. Arrived in its original box as described. LOOKS VERY SIMPLE YET ELEGANT. I use it to work (withstands the frequent washing in the hospital setting), when i ski, or when i hang out with friends in the bar. NOW THAT'S VERY VERSATILE. Have not tried wearing it with any formal clothes so will update my review when the occasion arises. SIMPLE. ELEGANT. EXPENSIVE-LOOKING TAG. What more can I say?

This watch is a great value, and an amazing watch. Shipping was quick and it was as described. New in the box. I will definately purchase from amazon again.
