From TAG Heuer's recently updated Link series comes this elegant blend of sport and prestige styling. A handsome brushed steel link bracelet, with smooth contours and flowing lines, leads to the perfectly round black dial, which offers luminous hands and markers, a date window at the three o'clock hour, and a tachometer scale on the flange. The watch is set in a 40-mm brushed steel case and framed by a round fixed steel bezel. This Link series watch features precise automatic movement, meaning that it winds itself with the natural motion of your wrist and does not require a battery. Other notable features include a screw-in crown and caseback, a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a double safety clasp on the bracelet for added security and a seamless look. This watch is rated water resistant to 200 meters.

The TAG Heuer Story

After extensively researching and looking at the various TAG models- I landed in this one to start my TAG collection. I think its a nice balance of cost vs. sophistication.

I was looking for something that was affordable, yet also a watch that I could wear in both casual and professional settings. I settled in on the Link and the AquaRacer models. Frankly, I chose the Link for the better comfort of the bracelet. Formerly a leather band wearer- I found the smoothly curved Link to be a good transition to a heavier, metallic band.

I will admit that I now find myself covetting some of the other styles, I eslecially like the Monoco and Monza Chronos. One of those will be my next acquistion.....perhaps followed by the fun, red-faced F1 for more casual use.

Amazon offered the best price and delivery for the watch I wanted to buy. I love the watch and I felt very comfortable about buying this from Amazon. This was my first significant purchase from the internet. The watch is great and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it runs a little fast (automatic not quartz). The 5 year Amazon warranty is also a great plus.

The watch did not work when I received it, I had it fixed locally. Now it works just fine
