I bought this watch for my wife for Christmas. It's a beautiful watch, very elegant and came with all of the paperwork. BUT, it doesn't keep time. I've tried manually winding it (it's supposedly automatic via the movement of the wearer's hand), but within hours it's dead. Even when it's "working" it doesn't keep proper time.

Perhaps it's just in need of some fine tuning, but since it's from Amazon, no Tag dealer will service it without charging a hefty fee.

So as nice as it looks, what's the use of a watch that won't keep time?

No wonder the price was so low...it does not keep time. Imagine the look on my wife's face when I handed her a watch which stopped on her wrist an hour later. Over $2000 and Amazon offered me to send it back at *MY* expense so they can "test" it. They would not define what test meant. Maybe you guys should just stick to selling books.

The watch is very sharp and not overly gaudy. The movement is very fine. The watch was delievered with no problem. All paper work and instructions included. Amazon does the warranty for the watch. I would guess Amazon is not a Tag authorized dealer.

Beautiful watch arrived in great shape and on time.
Only complaint is that I did not receive a warranty card with it.
The watch is the automatic version and as such it is a little fast and you have to adjust the time say once a week or so. I personally would have gone for the quartz version but my girlfriend wanted the automatic function so she does not have to deal with batteries.

Nice looking watch but does not work the way it is supposed to.. I didn't use the watch right away but when I did I realized after a couple of days using it that it wont keep time, it just keep on going forward and making its time up to 25 minutes ahead. I called amazon and the lady said they will send me a link for the service. I got the link but would not work and kept giving me error message. I called again I was given a number for the watch repair or of some sort. The lady told me that it would take 4 to 6 weeks or even longer to get my watch back, on top of that I have to cover insurance and shipping cost to send it our of state... Horrible experience. Do not purchase!!

Always wanted this watch - best price through Amazon. Cheaper than eBay! and even got a 2 year guarantee.
Watch is gorgeous - keeps perfect time and looks fabulous, chic, elegant and luxurious.
Also has a skeleton back with ruby and sapphire jewels in the works of the watch - amazing!
No regrets!

my wife had to have this watch. it's pretty and works, so i guess it perfroms as expected. my personal feeling was that I could have bought a new timex, worn it for a week, thrown it away and bought another new one the following week for four or five years for the same amount I spent on this. but i guess the point was for her to be able to know that her husband spent so much money on something so needless for her. this was the by far the lowest price I found on this watch but following her logic it probably would have been better if I bought it at a galleria jewelry store for twice as much.
