I have done yoga for years but had never tried T'ai Chi. At 61 years old, I needed something less strenuous. I read about it in my AARP magazine & thought I would try it. WOW! It's amazing and I recommend it for everyone no matter what your age. I actually get up 45 minutes earlier so I can do it before I go to work!! I never understood what your "Chi" is, but since trying it, I've lost weight & never felt better.

As a 66 year old grandma wanting to keep as active as I can this is a painless way to improve my live. To learn by the man that developed the method is exciting. He shows each movement in detail with easy to follow directions. The video is easy for an amature to follow and pick what you want to work on. The last half of the video is a group of four teachers leading you through the whole series of movements.

The DVD is thorough in teaching movements for Tai Chi Chih and I enjoy following it every day. My only complaint regards the "choppiness" of camera angles when following the 4 teachers - i.e. a fluid movement is not followed to completion before focusing on a different teacher or part of the body. Hence, while trying to refine hand/arm movements through observation, the camera lens switches to a teacher's feet - a bit frustrating until the moves were mastered.
