5.0 out of 5 stars Complete Collection of Algernon Blackwood's stories, January 9, 2007
This review is from: TALES OF THE UNCANNY AND SUPERNATURAL: The Doll; Running Wolf; The Little Beggar; The Occupant of the Room; The Man Whom the Trees Loved; The Valley of the Beasts; The South Wind; The Man Who Was Milligan; The Trod; The Terror of the Twins; et al (Hardcover)
I understand that this volume contains 2 volumes of previously published stories, and among them are some of his best. No one can deliver a shiver like Blackwood, and his talent for turning familiar, every-day objects into things of horror is unsurpassed in horror fiction. Some people might think these stories would be dated, but a good ghost story just gets better with time.
