A Real Monster Synth, September 19, 2005

I owned a virus C before, and when i heard the virtual copy of the synth i was amazed! It sounds exactly like its Hardware counterpart, but with the benefits and ease of use of software, seamless integration with Cubase SX, (not the same if you are working with ableton live :( ) I love the sound , that oozes from this little program. Every parameter is sorted in different pages, which is really much better to work than browsing through the 2 line screen in the hardware version. I could load almost all the presets i did on the Virus C, the ones who couldn load where only those who used the EQ section of the hardware, which is not present in the virus powercore but which you wouldnt miss either since there are much better EQ plugins delivered in almost all host sequencers and third party plugins. after I bought the virus i was so addicted to its sound that i bought the extended licence which enables me to open as much as 4 instances in my powercore element card, each instance is 4 part multitimbral which extends its power to 16 diferent timbres coming all out at once . sweeeet!!!
