Much better than big box store offerings.

They have a very fine mesh screen in them and they seem to work well with the paints I use.

I was even able to clean it off and use it again.

The screen is polyester, the filter is very heavy paper. It holds shape well and and does a great job of screening paint/stain/finishes. I test by wasting a little regular paint and putting various types of sawdust in it and then straining. It took out all the regular sawdust and the only thing left behind was some powdered graphite - which is as fine as talcum powder and won't gum or clog even an air brush.

These things are worth the money - buy a bundle.

Met expectations. Note that this is a much finer strainer than you might expects, good for solvent (lacquer) paints. Too fine for acrylic.

They definitely get used before pouring paint into my gun and they definitely keep the dirt out. They CAN be washed after use (run water through the filter and over the fabric), air dried, and then used again. However, don't expect more than a few more uses out of them after that as the fabric doesn't exactly repel water and wears pretty quickly with multiple uses. But hey, you get a lot of filters!

I purchased these paint filters because my wife and I have slowly been repainting our house and have been bitten more than once by dirt getting into our paint. Once we started filtering all of our paint with these filters our projects have come out much nicer and we are able to use all the paint in the can without fear of contamination. We've been using latex paint, which some reviewers believe that these filters are too fine for. We did find them to be a bit slow, but it isn't by any means unbearable, especially if you will be filling them all or most of the way. The bottom line is: they are cheap, work well, and can just be tossed out when you finish the job (IE: less cleaning!)

Nice strainers. Firm paper. Strainer fabric does the job. I do a lot of fine finish work in urethane, oils and latex

I'm not going to lie- at first glance I thought these things were some kind of Conehead memorabilia. :)

Actually what these things do -and do REALLY well- is filter the dirt of the paint, so your paint job will be really smooth and look beautiful when it's complete. Now that's what I call a product well made.

I use this for straining my House Of Kolors paint and primer before I put it in the guns. What can I say it works great. I was even able to clean it off and use it again.
