These are excellent re-writable music CD's. I use the heck out of them recording old tapes and albums but also for special radio concert broadcasts. You can use one of these and then go back and edit it for final recording, erase it and start again. Some of the other discs out there suck and this is the last of the current TDK stock. TDK was bought by Imation and their discs have generally worn out quickly. Buy these while you can!!

These disks have been very useful in recording my classical LP
collection on to CD. A considerable cost saving versus using
standard music CD's.

I get about 35 record/erase cycles on each disk before it goes bad.
And I have never had a "coaster" (a bad disk)

Recommended.

The TDK CD-RW CD's are great if you do recording where you may have to record again after mistakes have been made. I have a hard time finding these at the stores here in San Francisco so I always order them from Amazon and they have always been delivered quickly and in great condition ready to go. Especially if you need the 1X-4X recording speed for your use, these will do the job.

These cannot be found in any regular store such as Kmart or Target or Best Buy. Evidently Imation has just bought out TDK who earlier had bought out Memorex and it has been difficult to purchase these. They are sold at Amazon.com and on Ebay but that's about the only places they can be found. They are top quality and work beautifully for making my own cds. They can be erased and re-recorded on many, many times and will last indefinitely. I use them for music only and have never had any problems with them. They will, however,wear out eventually so I recommend having a supply on hand to use and thanks to Amazon.com, I will be able to purchase more for my own use.

The overall cd is OK, but I tried erasing it all to a new disc and I got an error when trying to record over it saying "Disc Full". So, this tells me you cant rewrite over this disc once you have erased it to a new disc. However, you can erase the last track you recorded and it will allow you to record again. I am also comparing these to some I bought 9 years ago. Same name but better quality. I am just now having problems with one of the three from 9 years ago, and I do allot of recording and re-recording. That is the only reason I bought more, because I didn't know how long these were going to last. I would like to find one with better quality.

CD-RW's work very well, as described for manual recording through CD recorder/player. CD recorder/player as part of my componet stereo system is used to record LPs and cassettes onto CD discs. Quickly reads and initializes CD for recording. Easily able to erase individual tracks or the entire disc during recording and after transfering material to a CD-R disc.

I have been looking for a good 4x CR-R for my music. These are great and well priced. Arrived sooner than promised!

Comusumer re-write CD-RW are geting hard to find for home recording. Great price.
