Bought a 50 TDK-DL spindle. After 9 "failed to burns", I gave up. I thought something was wrong with my software or burner. Bought a small spindle of Verbatum online. First one burned perfectly and 5 more --so far without fail. I won't buy the TDK's again.

I ain't a mathematician, but all 5 discs being coasters isn't a good ratio. Just stick with better brands like verbatim.
