strong enough for this big guy
I weigh 250+, I mounted this to the open ceiling joists in my basement, not on my wall. Holds me just fine.

Not far enough from wall
This is sturdy, but it mounts too close to the wall. This is a huge problem for me. Saw the post about mouting it to a ceiling joist - I'm going to investigate that.

Solid construction, not enough space from wall,

Very solid welded steel construction. The bar isn't quite far enough away from the wall, so my feet tend to drag on the wall on the way up. Not a huge deal, but I would have bought a different bar if I knew that was the case. Might want to consider spacing it from the wall with a 2x4.
Least expensive metal wall-mount bar I've found.

It does appear to be a good item with a very sturdy design. It doesn't come with instructions or materials, so that is a draw back. Otherwise, good item.
