If you've been benching heavy for years and can't get your hands on the bar behind your neck when doing squats, this is a solid alternative. I've been using this safety squat bar for a few weeks now and I'm getting used to it. It definitely takes the stress off my shoulders. The bar is heavy duty and well made, its ridiculously high priced, but you know that before you buy it. I haven't found any other safety squat bars, for any cheaper. All in all, if you've got the money, and are serious about lifting and squatting, then you can't go wrong with this bar. I've bought a lot of stuff from this company and its all been good quality.

This is a good solid bar; yet i have in the thirty years of working out had a better balanced one; you did not have to balance it with your hands : I do not remember the maker; I sold it because of room at the time ; and i do regret selling it:
