Easy to set up, but does not decode the sound from my Blu-Ray players HDMI. I wrote to TEAC a week ago and haven't received a response.

EDIT: I finally received a response from TEAC, and they said that this unit will not decode audio from an HDMI connection. The manual (which is terrible) does not make this clear in any way. I think this is unfortunate, as this was the main reason I choose this unit.

MY FRIEND CAME BACK FROM JAPAN WITH A AWESOME
4 CHANNEL TEAC WITH A REAL TO REAL 4 CH TAPE RECORDER WITH 4 MATCHING 12 IN THREE WAY SPEAKERS.

I WANT TO GET A TEAC RECEIVER FOR YRs.

THIS WAS A BUY BELOW $200.

BEEN HAPPIER IF IT WAS A 7.2 INSTEAD OF A 5.1

BUT IT HAD DIED AND RESET IT SELF. THEN THE
DVT/CLB INPUTS STOPPED WORKING ALONG WITH THE SPEAKER
LEVEL CONTROL. SO IT IN THE SHOP.

This receiver sounds good,nice quality (not 100-watt power at all- least 80watt)doesnt match the other TEAC sizes (its frontwide-smaller 1 inch)doesnt coming w/switched a/c outlets in the back & not A + B Front Speakers in the back,missing RCA audio/video inlets on front and you can't control the rest of your TEAC equipments CD Player,etc w/this remote control (not UR),the color is black as the picture (the seller doesnt said it).the rest VERY GOOD. the price was OK,it wasnt i expected but i still loving TEAC
