If you order this you will get a BLACK faced product in plain OEM packaging. You will NOT get the software and cables as described in the owners manual link in the listing!

Just like the other review said, black face and OEM packaging( no cables, no software and no manual).I Do not recommend this item unless black OEM is what your looking for.

This CD/DVD drive is a plug and play this means that the Driver software is already pre-installed and all the customer needs to do is install the drive and let the OS do the work. This DVD-Rom drive is just that and does not have the capability to burn media to CD and is not designed for that, it is simply a CD/DVD-Rom drive. This DVD-ROM is is reasonably priced and works with amost any OS, Windows to Linux. Those few people throwing out bad reviews on this product did not do their homework properly before buying it.
