First, I want to say that for the price of the Michigan Industrial 1200 lb pull cable winch, I am very satisfied. However for my application, the winch proved to have too much cable on it and it kept getting tangled and jammed on the reel. I found that I could solve the problem and make good use of the winch after I shortened the cable. But again, for the price it was still the best choice for my project need.
