The TEKTON Lightstorm Ion Cordless LED Worklight has a cordless, go-anywhere design that is ideal for any work area, roadside or power outage emergency, campsite and more. The Lightstorm features 30 LED bulbs that provide focused light output. It has a convenient stand-up magnetic base and three hanging hooks that allows for use in every situation. A 2-stage power-saving switch operates 30 LEDs for maximum illumination for up to 3 hours or 10 LEDs for extended run time of up to 7 hours. The battery features advance technology made from long-lasting nickel-metal hydride battery that can be recharged over 500 times. The worklight has a 1 year guarantee. The writeup is not clear, but this is a battery operated light. It has a 110 volt charger and a car charger but the light can not go on while it is plugged into a charger. If it could go on while it was charging I would be happier and give it 5 stars.

I had to get 3 from the seller because each one was broke it was broke clips and battery problems even now the thing will not hold a charge more that 12 hours makeing in bad to take on the road even if ou bring the cable to charge in car takes hours to charge just to die soon after I will never by from MIT again do your self a favor and spend a extra 20 and get a good one.
