I bought some original "Leathermate" several years ago, and was amazed with the results. In doing my research I noticed that "Urad" is the original name of leathermate.

Since Urad is not supposed to be used on lambskin, this was just what I needed.

I also used this mixed with a little bit of URAD on my car seats, this left them nice and soft, but didn't leave them sticky, like URAD alone can do. It also worked good alone on suede.

I thought that I had to do-away with my suede leather jacket. I am too scared to take it to any professional cleaner because they always tell me that they cannot clean it and do not take responsibility for any damage. With a little internet research I came across your product. My jacket looks and feels like new! I will never again send a jacket to the professionals!

I have used Tenderly on all my leather goods for a number of years. It's the only product I really trust. I discovered this product after a motorcycle class that took place for 8 hours in the pouring rain. I thought that my leather jacket would be history since after it dried out, it was no longer soft...it was a hard mass of uncomfortable leather. I purchased the Tenderly and applied a mild amount after using a light water wash to open the pores. The jacket came back to life and took on the softness that once was. The jacket became the color black I remember it as well. Although there is a slight shine to the jacket.

This product is a staple, I always have it around the house for anything leather. Leather needs to be conditioned (like your skin) but there are some people who don't like to take care of their leather. Everyone is different but I like to keep my leather in tip top shape.

Here is my method for applying Tenderly:
    You will need:
    1. a bowl of water
    2. a few soft paper towels
    3. a soft cloth
    4. Tenderly Leather softener

    1. Apply a very thin amount of water on a paper towel and wash down the item. (only water, no soap) This will open up the pores of the leather.
2.Using the applicater that comes with the product, lightly dip it in to the jar. You should have a light amount on the sponge like applicator.
    3. Apply the product directly to the leather item. You might have to use more depending on the condition of your item.
    4. With the soft cloth - wipe off any access. Don't let the access product stay on the leather.
    5. Use the soft cloth to polish the leather, polish until you run your hand over the section and it's soft to the touch.
    6. Continue this until your entire item is complete.
    7.

I have a St Croix (made by Remy) leather coat. The finish was always fading away. The surface of the leather looked like it was dried out. Visually it was splotchy, and did not reflect the quality of coat that the HIGH price would reflect. St Croix did everything they could to make it right, and sent it back to Remy where they "treated it". This process took over 6 weeks. Got it back, and within weeks, the problem was back. St Croix assured me that Remy said there was nothing else that could be done. The leather is lambskin, very thin, and feels very luxurious. I was very concerned about using a standard leather product on it. I saw this product and the reviews and thought I would try it. It solved the dry, splotchy look. It did seem to slightly change the texture of the leather so it isn't as flexible as it was originally. but I haven't worn it much yet. I now can feel good about wearing a coat that looks good.

Tenderly is essential for anyone who wants to preserve and protect leather, whether it be a leather jacket, leather car seats, briefcases, or gloves. This leather cream is not cheap but it works better than anything else on the market to restore the buttery glow of fine leather and the soft feel and texture of these goods. Well worth it for the best Italian technology in leather protection.

This stuff is really awesome. I bought a pair of Allen Edmonds two years ago and have only put some wax on them once in a while. I've taken pretty poor care of them and so there are some pretty big creases and they were just about to start cracking. I got some of this stuff and after about an hour, the difference was incredible. It won't make the creases or the cracks go away, but it makes the leather look so much more healthy and pliable. This stuff also doesn't affect the color, so my tan shoes still look tan. Very pleased with this product.

Arrived promptly and in tact. I used it this morning on my riding boots. The enclosed sponge applicator worked well. I washed out the sponge after using as per the instructions and so far am pleased.
