Bio-Personal David is married to Dr. Kerri Smith, a pediatrician in St. George, Utah. They have two children, Kyla Marie (who, at 8 years of age is featured in several of Dave's articles on training junior players), and Keaton Bruce, who is six years old.

In addition, David is a bass and guitar player who has played in several bands when he lived in Southern California. He now plays in the Carlie Wall Band located in St. George, Utah. The book offers information on all aspect of coaching from setting up a junior program to technical break downs. I highly recommend the book, because it is organized well and the information is relevant, IMO.

without a doubt, one of the best books written on how to develop different tennis strokes...Dave Smith is as good as they come and the book is well organized
