Next year I will buy probably 10 bottles of this stuff.

They get into ceilings, walls, etc., even drop in to florescent fixtures in the garage ceiling on occasion.

This spray kills just about every other bug instantly. With the scorpions, they may not die instantly but they are certainly affected by it. I just wish they sold a bigger container!

I live in Las Vegas and have for over 30 years. My current home of ten years borders a rocky hill overlooking a golf course, and I have stone walls surrounding the pool. Said simply, scorpion environment extraordinaire. Our variety is the common Bark Scorpion. They don't kill humans but they hurt like crazy and can make you pretty sick. They get into ceilings, walls, etc., even drop in to florescent fixtures in the garage ceiling on occasion. Yuk. After years with an ineffective pest control company I moved to one that sprays 100% of my property monthly which is effective on both scorpions and their food source, bugs. You have to work on removing their food source otherwise it's a never-ending battle. All the local pest control companies advise nighttime searches, so with my trusty 51 LED light (excellent, casts a long light) I do an after dark sweep once or twice a week in the warm months, light in one hand, TERRO in the other. It's admittedly a little creepy. Anyhow, they glow like 1970's rock posters and get zapped, the TERRO wand good for getting into the stone wall crevices we have. To the user who said it works too slowly, he should know that when they have very little food their metabolism slows their body down to almost nothing, and scientifically tested they are about 1/4 that of other arthropods anyhow which slows the intake of the pest control liquid we apply, (Google) so even the spray won't act instantly like other bug sprays but my experience is, a good blast and it is just a matter of a couple or few minutes at the most. This program has been in place now for a year and it took a while to be noticeably effective but now we've gone from from 5 to 10 a month inside the house, we're down to one or more often none per month. Oh yeah, one more creepy thing - - bark scorpions in the house often look dead, sorry, when they feel vibrations they play dead, for those I use a DustBuster rather than the spray. Tough way to go I suspect, but I cackle fiendishly.

I use Terro whenever I spot a scorpion with a black light in the back yard. I have noticed that if you kill one in a certain place, check that place later on because they usually show up again for some reason right there.

I spray them first in case they move away before I can whack them, and then, I whack em good with a seven iron and scoop em up.

Like any creature, they look for water and a food source. Spray and cover an area, get a club or tool to whack and scoop and dispose of any other insects around. This is a good prevention method and it will help you keep the bottle longer without having to empty it because you're freaked out.

Initially, a barrier spray might be a good start and then check around every few days. If you go on a hunt, you're less likely to be intimidated by them. In some countries they are a delicacy and here in AZ I've even seen them sealed in sugar as a lollipop at stores. Happy hunting!

I use this product pretty regularly. Haven't purchased from Amazon yet only because the price is a bit steep here, so I pick it up locally.

This is a great spray if you can see, and physically get close enough to spray, a scorpion. The scorpions really dislike this stuff. You spray them and they'll start stabbing the air around themselves, even stabbing themselves, it's quite a sight. Now, it doesn't kill instantly. The scorpion may crawl around, or back into a crevice, etc. However, it WILL die. If you get one in an open area, and come back in an hour or two, you'll see it still there, and dead as a door nail.

I've used this product as a means to effectively knock down the scorpion population in and around where I live. Unfortunately, scorpions are just a fact of life here. The ONE thing I'd like to note, and the reason I knocked off a star, is that this spray really doesn't provide a barrier to the scorpions. Unfortunately, what I've learned is that very few products work if you are relying on them to be laid down on a surface and continually kill, or repel, scorpions. The little buggers just walk right over most sprays and products. Apparently because of the way a scorpion walks, it puts very little of it's body in contact with the ground. This means very little poison gets in contact with it.

Regardless, this spray IS great at killing them if you can get it to touch them. If you're having problems, get yourself a good UV Flashlight, some Terro, and go hunting.

Let me tell you, bark scorpions REALLY don't like this stuff!!! When sprayed they run around in circles confused and run into a hole and die! We have been doing nightly perimeter checks with a black light and spraying the ones we do find in an attempt to keep them out of the house and from breeding. My daughter was stung by a bark scorpian last year and I don't want to risk that happening again! This product was highly recommended to me by a friend and so far it really seems to be working. After a week of using it we are no longer finding any live scorpions in our yard!

I live in Phoenix and we have a pretty bad bark scorpion problem at my house. One hit with this spray kills them in about 2-3 minutes. In the summer my son and I will walk around the yard with a black light and spray the ones we can find. It sprays pretty far and just has to touch the scorpion to kill it. The bottle has lasted for over a year and I've gone on about 20 adventures with it.
