Test Review Booklet useful, but needs proofing!,

This review is from: TExES Science 4-8 116 (Paperback)
This test review booklet contained useful information and helpful tips, but also a number of incorrect spellings which cast a bit of doubt on the veracity of the book overall.
I reviewed for the TExES exam using some textbooks and online resources as well, and passed the test. I recommend this book as a part of your exam preparation, but do not rely upon it solely.

Poor practice test questions,

I thought long and hard before spending this much money on a test preparation book. Unfortunately,I don't feel that the book was worth the money spent. The sample test questions in the book were not representative of questions asked on the actual test. You would do much better using high school textbooks and intro-level college books to study from rather than limiting yourself to this book. Even as a study outline (which is what the book actually is)it lacks the scope of comprehension and detail necessary for this very demanding test.

This is an excellent study guide for aspiring Teachers that are preparing to take the state test. If it has been awhile since you thought about Celsius, molecular motion, nuclear fusion, condensation hypothesis, and prevalent elements in the biosphere...then you will benefit from this book. I also recommend reviewing other books of this nature.

Everything you need to know for the TExES exam! This company employs high school teachers and college professors, as well as individuals employed by biotech and chemistry companies. What a great pool of knowledge, condensed in an easy to follow format, and available to you through this study guide.
